Village of Anmore: Land Use Resident Survey Quantitative Report - May 2025

In May 2025, the Anmore Neighbours Community Association (ANCA) commission Forum Research, a Canadian Research Insights Council (CRIC) Accredited Agency, to conduct a land use planning public opinion survey among residents of the Village of Anmore.
The findings from this research provide a statistically valid snapshot of resident sentiment on the proposed Anmore South development project. Anmore South covers 151 acres in the southwestern part of Anmore. The proposed development requires a change in the Official Community Plan (OCP) from rural to urban and will add commercial areas and approximately 2,200 residential units, projecting to increase Anmore’s population by about three times its current size.
This report summarizes the results of an online survey conducted as part of the study.
