Unbiased Opinion of Anmore South Technical Traffic Study

Hello Mayor and council;
As mentioned in our council meeting earlier this week, the community has come together to fund a third party to validate and review the traffic study put forward by icona. Bunt has also been made aware that this work was underway.
It is my hope that you will see this and consider it in good faith as an effort to try to understand the truth and understand what the implications of this development are on our community.
Upon my review, it is very apparent that a number of assumptions and numbers put forward are simply false. I expect the experts will have conversations. And it is my hope. That they will find agreement on what the correct numbers are when it comes to traffic and the implications.
I remind you that traffic isn't a matter of convenience. We live in a boundary area with wild forests and a changing climate. As such and wildfires could easily threaten our village not to mention other disasters or even human inotiated challenges. In the case of an emergency if traffic is not properly planned and understood people will not have the opportunity to escape. This is a matter of not just speculative safety. This is a matter of endangering lives.
Please expect additional work that is being currently carried out on the other technical assessments will be presented to you as soon as we get it. There's an opportunity for us to work together counsel and community as we should. I'd also encourage you to consider being more inclusive of our neighbours Port Moody and Belcarra as well because our decisions also will bare significant impact on their safety.
